Ergonomic Dental Chairs by Pelton and Crane

I'm very proud to announce that all four dental chairs have been replaced! After studying what the leading manufacturers had to offer, I selected beautiful black leather chairs by Pelton and Crane... the undisputed leader in dental chair design. Aside from being gorgeous, these made-in-the-USA dental chairs actually massage the patient during treatment. I've had them for a month, and my patients are loving them.

• Arm Rests

  

  The same dedication to ergonomics found in the rest of the chair has been engineered into its armrests, which slide to articulate with the angle of the seatback.

  Dual integrated touchpads located on the arm supports are oriented so the user can easily read the button functions without moving out of position.

Quiet Electric Motor Driven Dental Handpieces (Drills) by Kavo

The next exciting upgrade that I'm proud to mention is my Kavo Electric Motor driven dental drill...

Kavo is the leader in dental handpiece technology. Over the years I've heard so many patients say..."I really don't like the sound of the drill, can't they do something about that?" Here it is. An electric drill that operates much quieter and much more smoothly that the traditional air-turbine drill that makes you cringe when you hear it. It is a dramatic improvement.

Helios 3000 Patient Lights

Another fantastic upgrade is my four new Helios 3000 patient lights. They provide amazing light, yet they don't shine in your eyes.

• Patent Pending Color Mixing

  

  Using multi-colored LED's (red, green, blue and amber), the light temperature can be touch-button controlled to produce both 5000°K and 4200°K settings. This is optimal for shade matching by verifying accuracy at both temperature settings.

• Precise Light Pattern

  

  Factory calibrated at 27", a precise 3"x6" rectangular light pattern with uniform intensity is produced. With nearly no hot spots or color washing on the outer edges of the pattern, illumination occurs only where you want it to - in the oral cavity, not in the patient's eyes.

• No-cure Setting

  

  The ability to control the color output allows the Helios 3000 to eliminate all blue light from the color spectrum while maintaining 15,000 LUX intensity. This state-of-the-art feature prevents polymerization of restorative materials by drastically reducing the spectrum within the 400nm-500nm range. Never dim or move your operatory lights again.

• Cool Operation

  

  Heat conduits and the channeled heat sink with a forced air convection fan eliminate nearly all radiant heat. No more inadvertent burns for you and your staff or uncomfortable heat projected onto the patient.

• Efficient And Reliable

  

  The Helios 3000 has a maximum output of 48 watts. That's nearly 70% less energy consumed than standard halogen operating lights. Statim Sterilizer

Finally, The Statim Sterilizer by SciCan is an awesome product, capable of completely sterilizing dental instruments in 8 minutes.

The Statim 2000 S-cycle cassette autoclave is the fastest benchtop sterilizer available. Statim will sterilize instruments in only 8 minutes and between patients. This will optimize clinical time management and improve efficiency... Everyone likes an efficient visit.

How Does Statim Work So Fast?

The removal of air has long been recognized as critical to achieving sterilization because air can act as a barrier to the sterilizing steam. In fact, unless the autoclave can evacuate air from inside the handpiece before sterilization begins; the handpiece would not necessarily be sterilized. This 'pre-evacuation' and sterilization can only be assured in a validated S or B-cycle autoclave.

All of my handpieces (drills) are sterilized by the SciCan Statim.
